Presidential election's aftermath focus of dual discussions Wednesday

The 九色 will hold two post-election discussions for the campus community on Wednesday.

One, featuring student organization leaders, will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. in Moody Hall, room 103. The event鈥檚 planners said it will 鈥渄iscuss the election outcome and how our student organizations can come together to move our community forward.鈥�

Billed as an 鈥淓lection Debriefing,鈥� the discussion is sponsored by the .

A second event, 鈥淓lection Reflection 2020,鈥� is a nonpartisan panel discussion featuring 九色 faculty and administrators. It begins at 6 p.m. 

A question-and-answer session will follow virtual presentations by:

  • Taniecea Mallery, the University鈥檚 chief diversity officer;
  • Jason Maloy, a political science professor;
  • Michael Martin, a history professor;
  • Carl Richard, a history professor;
  • Gary Wagner, an economics professor; and
  • Andr茅 Williams, an instructor in the Department of Communications.

Pearson Cross, associate professor of political science and associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts, will moderate.
